Area B. displays examples from the Ottoman and the Mamluk periods. The pottery from Area D. covers a time span of about 1050 Years, from the late Greek\ Early Hellenistic- Early Roman to the Late Byzantine –Early Umayyad periods (ca 300 BC.- 750 AD.). But also from the Mamluk and Ottoman periods (14th -19th century AD.), The analysed pottery from Area B comes from a single large room, excavated completely , located in the southern part of the northern hall of the original Building. Assemblages from Area D come from several rooms that were excavated only partly during the 1999 season. | en_US |
